IDEA has developed with Trane USA the selection software for the new modular chillers with R454B refrigerant.

The ranges of products included in the selection software are:

​

• Air-cooled unit: cooling only, heat pump, recovery and multi-function (hot, cold and simultaneous);

• Water-cooled unit: cooling only, heat pump, recovery and multi-function (hot, cold and simultaneous);

The selection software is based on simulation algorithms validated by Trane after comparison with test data.

All calculation procedures were developed by IDEA, all the know-how used for software development is part of the company asset. IDEA has a team of programmers supported by a team of mechanical engineers expert in thermotechnical and thermodynamic topics.
